In 2011 Kareena purchased the existing Indulgence store in the small coastal town of St Helens on Tasmania’s North East Coast. After coming to St Helens and falling in love with the vibe and relaxed feel of the town they knew this is where they wanted to stay forever.

Kareena had just finished up working her own party plan business “The Hobby House” which she had worked for 10 years and decided it was time to wind down and do something which consisted of more regular hours and less travel. 

 

Kareena made Indulgence into something of her own, adding fashion and footwear to the current giftware, homewares, and fashion accessories lines. As the demand for ladies fashion grew, they moved their store across the road into a larger building which allowed them to move into men’s fashion and accessories.

Indulgence had become THE Ladies’ and Men’s fashion store in St Helens, complemented by their junior store A Little Indulgence that has many beautiful jewellery, giftware, baby gifts and homeware lines. 

 

As of October 2021, Indulgence will forever now be known as Maddie and Mee. Kareena, with her daughter Maddie, want everyone to find something they love and feel comfortable in their own skin.
